Academic and artistic
Maria Marikina is a contemporary bulgarian oil painter inspired by unique natural wonders and the beautiful world.
Her professional life initially led her to Science and University Professor as an Associate Professor, Doctor of Economics. She is an Author of:
- 7 Books
- Over 100 publications in scientific journals
- 5 publications indexed in Web of Science and Scopus
- Over 150 scientific citations, over 50 in Web of Science и Scopus
In the daily Life, however, she became more and more aware that with creativity something existentially important was missing in her Life and her Longing for liberation and living out her Art became stronger and stronger. In 2022 she reinvented herself. Today she uses her creative Potential and finds Fulfillment, Happiness and Freedom in her Painting.
Her artistic nature, expressed through her paintings, reveals not just landscapes but:

- Themes that evoke emotions and reflection;
- A style balancing realism and dreaminess;
